FAQs
What’s the difference between Fine and Coarse?
1
Fine dissolves quickly and blends evenly, making it best for cooking, baking, and seasoning while you cook. Coarse has larger crystals, making it best for finishing, grilling, and adding texture at the table.

Where does your salt come from?
2
Our Crystal Lake Salt is harvested from natural freshwater lake deposits, and our Himalayan Pink Salt comes from ancient seams in the Himalayan mountain range, one of the oldest and most mineral rich salt sources on earth.
How should I store the salt?
3
Keep it sealed and store in a cool, dry place. Avoid moisture and humid areas to prevent clumping.

Does Himalayan pink salt taste different from lake salt?
Lake salt is naturally formed and gently processed to preserve its clean taste and mineral character. Compared to standard refined table salt, many people notice a smoother, more balanced flavor and a texture that works especially well for both cooking and finishing.
We do! If you're a restaurant, retailer, or just someone who goes through a lot of salt, reach out to us at info@gh-g.com to discuss wholesale options.
Subtly, yes. The Himalayan has a slightly deeper, earthier note from its mineral content. The lake salt is cleaner and more neutral — closer to what most people expect from "salt." Neither is better; they just shine in different contexts.
